Circle Carriers Legacy Project
The Calling the Circle Foundation (CtCF) seeks to record the stories of those visionaries who were inspired to bring the knowledge and use of circle into the modern world as well as medicine carriers who have upheld circle through the teachings of their lineages. This is a diverse and aging group. CtCF wishes to preserve these first generation voices, to hear the stories of how the circle came to be their life calling, and to explore the social arenas in which they have redeposited this ancient wisdom at a time of huge cultural shift.
We believe this is an historic moment. The return of circle has the potential to instill a new culture that combines the best of human experience and allows humanity to create a sustainable relationship with each other and with the earth. The movement is actually growing quickly and diversifying. Stories of people of all ages who have embraced circle and who are carrying circle forward in the culture are included in this Legacy Project.
As interviews are completed, they will be posted on this website. Numerous interviews are currently in development. Our intention is to create an accessible resource on the Internet. We invite other circle carriers and their organizations to participate; we welcome sharing expenses and work-time for mounting and maintaining this resource. Contact us if you or your organization would like to contribute to or support the Legacy Project in any way. We would also love to hear what you think of the project and how you are using these resources. The videos are archived as full interviews (an hour or more) and also as as edited versions (under 10 minutes). These links are shareable, but not downloadable to protect the integrity of people's life work.

WindEagle, RainbowHawk and Friends
In this video, Roq Gareau (Calling the Circle Foundation) interviews WindEagle & RainbowHawk (Ehama Institute and the World Foundation for the Discipline of Peace), Pele Rouge & FireHawk (Resonance), and Maja Rottboell & Carl Damm (StrongBrightHearts). Unfortunately Carl Damm got a black eye at the swimming hole the day before the filming. We understand that this is visually jarring and yet we made the choice to include his voice in this video as one of the young people who are working with circle in his work in the world. He recovered fully with no damage to his eye. Camera work by Michael TwoEyes Paula - filmed on August 23, 2009 at the Village of the Shining Stones, NM.
